Every year on 22 February, Scouts from all around the globe commemorate Founder's Day. Founder's Day is an important date on the scouting calendar as it is the birth date of Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the world-wide scouting movement. As for this year's Founder's Day , we were able to hold it in the Parade Square with the whole school witnessing the parade for the first time in 3 years. The event was planned by the Venture Exco alongside with the other S4 scouts.

The purpose of commemorating scouts founder's day each year is to reaffirm our oaths together as one and contemplate how scouting's century-old values are still relevant in today's fast-paced world.

Rehearsal for Founder's Day 2023
Overall, this year's founder's day was a memorable one as we were finally able to hold the parade in front of the whole school. The new S1 scouts were also very participative and put in their best effort when rehearsing for the parade. I would like to thank everyone who was involved in the parade, especially APL Ansley Padilla who took very astonishing pictures of everyone!
